Many for profit schools like ITT Tech issue degrees that are not worth the tuition dollars borrowed/spent by the student/customer.
The picture you see below is of a young black man contemplating enrolling at the University of Phoenix. The single father, resting his chin on his fingers, has been told by recruiter that he will be issued credit for relevant work experience.
Now that really opens the floodgates. I wonder if one year of experience at fast food place would be worth anything in culinary program. Would somebody with a newspaper route get credit towards a journalism degree?
I can just see Phoenix recruiter in a feeding frenzy telling a potential victim, I mean student, that homeless people and beggars would be given “college credit” for economics.
