This photograph of the speedometer of a Toyota Corolla traveling at 85 mph with cruise control set was taken heading east on interstate 10 near Iraan Texas. The amazing fact disclosed by this speed measuring device was the miles per gallon or MPG display. This iconic car, noted for its legendary reliability and gas mileage, was measured achieving 88.6 MPG on the open road in south central Texas!
