Chess players who always castle Queenside

Any hard core USCF member knows the aggressive types of chess players who wait for their opponent to castle kingside and then immediately castle queenside to launch a pawn storm against the enemy Monarch.

That is what this ICC chess player did opening the g file and doubling his rook and queen even though the f6 bishop securely guarded the g7 pawn. This also left white quite vulnerable (one of Dan Heisman’s chess elements) on the queen side and he overlooked a very standard smothered check mate with his King at a1, black knight at a3, black queen at d3. White resigned since after queen to b1 which is protected by knight at a3, either white’s knight or rook has to capture SMOTHERING the King at a1 and allowing Nc2 checkmate.

  1. A thread at Ozchess and a Filipino named Danimal profess their hatred for the internet chess club. Danimal appears to hate many things. Ozchess is an Australian chess blog. Forget the hate, join Black Bear School of chess-Brooklyn Technical High School. Jay Severson scored massive 800 point upset win over Jenny.
