Fly By Night Internet Home Mortgage Refinancing

We received home mortgage refi money savings solicitation from Halina Torrillo or somebody claiming to be Halina Torrillo. Halina possesses what appears to be a legitimate AOL address Our first impression is the entity calling themselves is using her name in an exploitative manner.

Based on our research is a very temporary web site created to blitz unsuspecting victims, in a “mass mailing” campaign, into a poor financial decision which will only profit

Miss Torrillo, apparently an agent of, has no discernible financial credentials and one certainly has to wonder why she should be trusted regarding a decision as important as refinancing one’s mortgage.

She also appears to be quite desperate for everybody  to click the link at the bottom of the email you see below, urging  the few people who take the time to read the deceptive email that this a limited time offer.

A search on the name Halina Torrillo turned up the following addresses and phone numbers:  253-241-0403 : Halina Torrillo,41st Ave E, Tacoma, Washington  –  206-390-7482 : Halina Torrillo,Parkside Dr E, Seattle, Washington.

Halina, remember that if you take the time to send an unwanted email to a bunch of people, they can easily find out what your favorite color is in about 15 seconds. If you are working for such a place of your own free will, please reconsider your choice of occupations. If they are using your name without your consent, then you have legal recourse that could win you a settlement that you appear to need. Good Luck!

It was also discovered that the domain  is less than a half a year old with no credible contact information or customer support. So it is quite easy for one to conclude that doing business with such an entity or its agents would be fraught with financial peril!

  1. Speaking of Fly By Night lenders who are looking to rip you off, we got snail mail ad from LLC claiming to be able to reduce our monthly mortgage payment by $61. Got in touch with this dude who works for them named William Bonney. Could tell the guy was a liar and dishonest when he said all lender fees would be waived. He said our credit score would not be affected, but it was big time! He specializes in underwater property. They also sent me a fake user ID claiming I had created an account with them. The claimed they withheld the current lender which they don’t really know to make it look like they are being professional when they are nothing more than scam artists. Put them out of business by ignoring them.

Also heard that owner of Loan Depot William J. Camuti was criminally prosecuted for deceptive sales practices.
