Received a vehicle service contract snail mail notice from an entity with an address listed as 333 Mid Rivers Mall Drive in Saint Peters Missouri. They call themselves CarShield sending us a vehicle document notice that we never requested to begin with. They are not affiliated with any auto manufacturer or dealer nor did they know anything about our vehicle.
What gives this away as fraudulent, is their opening line in the letter you see below: Our records indicate you have not contacted us to have a vehicle service contract activated. If you read further, you will see that I am requesting coverage and protection through 2023 for drive axle assembly, engine and transmission repairs, etc which, again, was never initiated by me!
Their summary of terms is an attempt to make the notice look authentic when it is just a scam generated by a junk mailer who somehow got our address.
