Why won’t this Doctor put his name on his Advertisement?

This newspaper advertisement with the Albuquerque phone number 505-247-3223 does not show the name of the “Doctor” who can presumably legally prescribe/sell Marijuana. It does say that appointments are filling fast and that medical records are required. How many legitimate doctors do not identify themselves in advertisements AND indicate that appointments are filling up fast?

I believe this ad appeared in many newspapers in New Mexico including Carlsbad, Artesia, Roswell, Hobbs, and Ruidoso. A google search revealed that the enterprise associated with the phone number is called Peace Medical Marijuana Consultants. Hmmmm…..is that the peace of mind one gets using grass medicinally OR the make love not war type of peace that the hippies who had sex in public at WoodStock espoused?

I don’t have a problem with people who smoke pot responsibly, but cash-strapped small town newspapers need to be a little more prudent about the advertisements they print. It’s becoming a much finer line these days between legal and illegal drug pushers.

  1. Despite what David Lauter says, smoking pot is morally wrong and a gateway to more addictive and dangerous drug use. Doctors who sell it are not sticking to Hippocratic oath they swore to.
