This all too common sight at Sam’s Club in Roswell, NM speaks to the exceptionally high demand for the 3 pounds of Daily Chef Rotisserie chicken. For $4.98, one can not find a better deal to feed two grown adults inexpensively with a high quality meal.
Behind the empty shelves where the roasted chicken normally displays, one can see chicken spinning through the flamed rotisserie. We waited an extra 15 minutes after making all our other selections for this delectable sustenance despite a long trip back to Corona.
We do not regret paying 40 dollars a month for our Sam’s membership as it pays for itself in less than two months of shopping. We also just cashed in our 5-3-1 cash back rewards Master Card check of $280. We bought $300 worth of groceries, but only had to pay $20 out of pocket due to the check which is issued annually and must be redeemed at the store.
We are grateful that Roswell has a warehouse store of this quality. Sometimes they are out of ground beef and we get very pissed off that they move their products around! One of the attendants said the items on the shelves are intentionally scrambled to keep the patrons in the store that much longer in the hope that shoppers will see more items and purchase more!
