Georgia USA Social Studies Class Question Appeared to Favor Slavery

I don’t fault Angela Nichols one bit for being thin-skinned about black slaves being investments for white people.  The GWINNETT COUNTY, Georgia mother was justifiably pissed off about the following question asked in the social studies class of her beloved son:  “Slavery is an OK thing because slaves were a vital investment who helped plantation owners take care of important investments. Explain why you agree or disagree.”

Coleman Middle School Principal Bernard Watson was penitent for the discord and ennui such an offensive homework assignment could cause for Duluth residents.

We live in racially sensitive times, especially since Blacks seem to always blame white police officers for shooting Black criminals.
