Waiting for a Lift to Ashland, Oregon

The hitchkiker you see in the picture was bound to Ashland, Oregon. He is what many might call a static itinerant, hoping and praying for the generosity and trust of motorists stopping at Cabin Creek Rest Area. This may have been the last place Serenity Soce was seen before disappearing with a stranger.

So many of our nations roadside stops have multiple missing persons notices posted. Back to hobo, whose only companion appears to be the dog you see in the photograph. His mode of transporation appears to be holding up a sign with his desired destination and waiting for a caring soul, good Samaritan type of citizen who does not mind transporting canines.

One lady even got out of her car to give his dog some scraps wishing the non-thumbing vagabond all the best.
