A Profitable Analysis of The Top Referring Sites Graph at Triond

The  bar graph you see below is what Triond reports to its writers regarding Top Referring Sites. What information does the top Top Referring Sites graph provide? As you can see from the graph Google Searches were responsible for 152 of my Triond articles being viewed( not necessarily read 🙂 ).

Triond views were second at 46 which means the Google searches produced page views that more than tripled Triond Fan,Friends, passerby views! So the Google Triond ratio, of over 3 in this case, can be viewed as a metric on how “healthy” your content is. I can remember the days where if i did not write new Triond articles every day, my views would be in the toilet. I am talking less than 10 views a day. Currently my Google to Triond Ratio is 3.30 and I get a little over 35 page views a day whether I am writing new articles or not.  A writer like Tulan who produces around 15-20 articles per week probably relies on page views from her friends and fans at Triond. These page views pay less than page views based on search engine traffic.

Another way of thinking about or interpreting the Google to Triond ratio is that the higher the Google/Triond ratio, the better the organic search page views. What is meant by organic search page view? Organic search page views describes a search that returns results by indexing pages based on content and keyword relevancy.

Contrast this with the warm, fuzzy, nice share page views that your Triond Fans and Friends give you. There is no doubt that organic page views pay more than Triond page views. Moreover, organic page views create the potential for an enduring residual revenue stream.

But even the best profit analysis can not offset the fact that Triond might not always be fair regarding how they share the ad revenue with their writers. They could easily withhold money you have earned and keep it for themselves. Moreover, a Triond publisher has no way of verifying how much earnings they have coming since Triond does not clearly state how the revenue is shared.

In short, Triond could ripping you off big time and you would never know. There are plenty of inexpensive web hosting sites. Consider dumping Triond and having more control over the earnings your writing deserves.

  1. Talented Writers like Jessica Rangel of HubPages should carefully consider these words. Other writers in Lancaster, Canada give away precious writing dollars by toiling away at places like Helium and Triond. There is money to be made writing online, but not at the free places like HubPages, Bukisa, Helium.

Paula Pant makes money by claiming that she quit her 8 to 5 job to pursue her life long dream of living independently by writing online. She also claims her Amazon and adsense revenue allow her to travel the world, save for retirement, and dine at nice restaurants without ever breaking a sweat about her bank account.

    1. I am a fan of Ulsterman at Triond. His article titled “White House Insider: Obama Hesitated – Panetta Issued Order to Kill Osama Bin Laden” is the highest earning and top ranked piece of content there.

Your thinly veiled criticism of Triond did not go unnoticed.

It was Ulsterman who reported the following history making leak on the execution of Osama Bin Laden: “Valerie Jarrett was told in very exact terms, “we overruled him.” (Obama) I have since followed up and received further detailed descriptions on exactly what that meant, as well as the particulars of how Leon Panetta worked to override the president’s “persistent hesitation to act.” There does not appear to have been an outright overruling of any specific position by President Obama, simply because there was no vantage point espoused by the socialist president. President Obama was, in this case, as in all others, functioning as an absentee president.”

      1. Sam Gelfand exposes Triond and Ulsterman in Gelfand’s piece written at free speech zone titled Triond the lie machine.

It is likely that Mnofdichotomy and Ulsterman are the same two unprincipled writers who feed off of each other sourcing each other with false content intended only to achieve high page views.

I am surprised that adsense allows their ads to appear on Triond maintained web pages. The writers there are thoughtless plagiarizing trolls and Triond let’s it happen without any moderation or control.

I believe the Google page rank algorithm ranks Triond pages very low which drives down revenue for “Triond publishers” and Triond.

Writers like momofplenty and tulan should disassociate themselves with Triond.

        1. Tulan(soul mates with Ruby Hawk) of Triond makes big bucks by sheer volume of writing output. Anything she writes becomes an article at Triond. Her signature are articles like I caught Brother with Sister but never told Mother. Quite humorous.
