I noticed the high and mighty pontificating bumper sticker on the rear bumper of a car parked in the Cottonwood Mall in Albuquerque,NM on a beautiful Saturday. Whoever affixed this sticker to their Melloy Plymouth vehicle must be certain they are bound for heaven because the sticker asserts that Many who plan to seek God at the 11th hour Die at 10:30.
Ignorant people sometimes confuse a catchy phrase like this with convincing arguments about the existence of God and an afterlife, but the owner of this vehicle with NM License plate Tag 626 HAF should think twice about preaching in public displaying their ignorance for all to see. If one chooses to believe in Magic and superstition as a basis for their happiness, then nobody can deny them that or take it away from them.
However the fool that believes in the wording on this bumper sticker to the extent that he is willing to “preach from the pulpit” from his car is dogmatic and ignorant to the many who find his beliefs to be nonsense.
If you want to preach to the public about your God and views, then the public deserves to know who you are and what makes your opinion on the matter so important.
