Cookies and allergic reactions

Subway makes some mean chocolate chip cookies. It’s a crying shame the paper pouch the delicious cookies are packaged in has to waste ink on legalese. The package warns the cookies may contain nuts or peanuts, even if not included in the stated ingredients. Also, in tribute to MacDonalds the contents may be extremely hot, but not as hot at the Food Babe in a bikini or twerking.

It does not take too much imagination to speculate that Subway must have been sued for an allergic reaction to either the nuts or peanuts. Nuts and peanuts are common ingredients in cookies which means the burden should be on the consumer and NOT Subway in the event of an allergic reaction.

It is rather interesting that Subway does not know whether nuts and peanuts are included in their cookie mixture. Does anybody know why this is the case? Maybe they get some sort of cost reduction for purchasing this type of cookie mix.

Oh, BTW check out this human bird we saw at a Subway in Roswell,NM.
