Somehow Colorado Christian University got hold of my email address. I certainly did not supply it to them. They advertise themselves as accredited(probably just regionally),Non-Profit and 100% online which means you can cheat your way to a worthless degree.
To advertise yourself as Non-Profit is, of course, a lie. With all the very accurate bad publicity For Profit schools are getting these days, I can understand why Colorado Christian University would not want to associate with that scummy niche.
Also one has to be very suspicious and guarded about their usage of the word Christian in their name as that once hallowed term is in for profit gutter nowadays too.
The point of this post is to inquire how many of you have difficulty unsubscribing to the torrent of unwanted emails you get? When I tried to unsubscribe to Colorado Christian University solicitations, I was forwarded to unsubrequest.com. This entity, apparently hired by Colorado Christian to handle “subscriptions”, wanted me to reenter my email address which they already should have on file. It audaciously requested that i provide the email address at which I received their email! SAY WHAT?! Read the screen shot below if you do not believe me.
I think they should be prosecuted for sending me any type of correspondence for a worthless degree and the sacrilegious usage of the venerated term Christian. Moreover, their intentional design of a form that makes it difficult and risky to unsubscribe should be reported. What they are doing is right on the margin of being a scam.
