I recently heard that Marie Osmond was approached in a public place and asked about the effectiveness of the Nutrisystems weight loss system that she endorses. She told the person to go to the website to research it themselves effectively admitting that she knew very little about the viability of the products that her employer sells.
Miss Osmond did not even know that the company was founded by Harold Katz(current CEO Dawn Zier) and that it used to offer one on one weight loss counseling in a brick and mortar type setting. She was almost dismissive that somebody would want to know these things from her even though Miss Osmond is the most visible spokesperson for products that apparently helped her to lose weight.
The marginal hour glass figure you see in the picture below is likely made possible by some type of girdle or cincher rather than resulting from her using the weight loss program she gets paid to promote. Also if she was really in shape, she would be closer to the camera and not wearing black.
It is so sad that the Won’t you meet me in Montana woman whose lovely voice captured the hearts and emotions of so many, now partially makes her living endorsing a product of doubtful effectiveness?
Maybe I am wrong about her. I guess you could find out by dialing the phone number whose last four digits correspond to THIN on your phone keypad.
